There is a book, Owings and Allied Families, writen by Addison Owings in Mississippi in the 1970s. I've followed some of those lines. Starting with Capt. Richard Owings I born ca.1662; son Henry, ca. 1690; Bezaleel ca. 1721,Edward ca 1766; Samuel Sumpter 8/13/1793; Elihu Randolph 7/20/1835; John Locke 5/27/1870; John William 11/25/1905; Beverly Ann 8/25/1936. My three children named Lantry.
