I am looking for a generalised selection of the Ozbolts linked
to the following families..Is there anyone who has any info on the family name of MARIC.
Marica Maric (Maric surname) married Ivan Ozbolt in late 1800's - they had one son Stjepan Ozbolt. All from Gerovo.
Any info will help.

Hi, my wife's name was Ozbolt, her GG Grandfather was John Ozbolt of Yugoslavia. John's wife was Maria or Mary. They had a son, Frank Sebastian Ozbolt, who was born in Prezid, Yugoslavia. Frank immigrated to America around 1900 and married Ara Lee Holmes and ended up in Porter County, Indiana. If anyone has any information on this Ozbolt family, please let me know.
The place you are looking for is in Croatia not in Yugoslavia, which only existed from 1918-1941, 1945-1991. Actually the area you are looking for was prior to 1918 Croatia.
It is 69.3 miles W of Zagreb in an area known as Gorski Kotor and is in Primorska-goranska zupanija, or county and very close to the Slovenian border.

There are 7 listings for OZBOLT at FamilySearch some from Gerevo, Hrvatska (Croatia). This town is just to the south of Prezid.
