I have been doing research on my Grandfather Hans C. Haroldson since approximately 1995. Initially, I hired a researcher in Norway and located several cousins, which in turn, lead to me find his siblings, which numbered 10. At this time I purchased the original Birth Certificates for all the siblings and began corresponding with the remaining several cousins, etc., which were delighted to discover that they had relatives in Canada and the USA, as I was to be able to correspond with them. In hind site I wish I had started my research years ago, since everyone is aging and several in Norway have passed since I first began my research, so have moved to remaining links that I acquired. They have been most anxious for me to visit Norway, but have been unable to make the trip todate, however, I still have plans to do so at a later time.
As of the past month, I know have my nephew Lee Haroldson helping me with my research, hopefully, with new insight we will be able to fill in some of the blanks that I have come across in locating relatives in the USA. Will update this in the near future.
