The website was a dream of Vidhu. She wanted a website on our family where we could share our experiences, memories, etc.
My parents initially got in touch with vidhu before i could meet her in the first week of Feb 2000. Then we got in touch via e-mail and phone calls. We both started to like each other, also found that we share a lot in common when it came to hobbies, interest etc. That time, i was working as a consultant for Kodak and she was in her last semester of Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from Chetnas College of Management specializing in the field of Marketing.
We decided to meet after her exams got over on the 19th of April 2000. I reached bombay on the 29th April, 2000 and vidhu and her dad had come along with my parents to recieve me at the airport. That was the first time we met face-to-face. We both were very excited and happy to see each other. She had rented a van so they dropped us home. Me and my parents then went to her place in the afternoon on the 30th April, 2000. Since we both liked each other very much, we decided to get engaged on the 7th of May.
Since Leonardo Dicaprio is her favourite actor, we saw the movie "The Beach" on the 30th of April.
