Just starting out on the web to find information on the family name. It is spelled Pakieser or Pakiser in the United States by four brother who came over in the 1880's and only one settled in Chicago. The others went west to Colorado & Neb. The family could have migrated from the Salzburg area in the late 1700's due to being Lutheran. Additonal spelling of the name could be; Packi(e)ser, Pakeiser and Packheiser
