These pages represent thirty years of collections of information about Ransom Ladd and his descendants. Prior to the Internet my family and I travelled to dozens of libraries, county seats, cemeteries and families trying to discover who our family was. These pages not only represent the data collected but also the stories of many of the individuals. These people became more than data; they became personalites who had lives, joys, heartaches, and celebrations. This particular story starts with Ransom, then Asa, John A., Noah, Ransom, myself, and my children and grandchildren. Other familes descending from Ransom are also included but with lesser detail. This information is based on private interviews, census records, Ransom's Bible record, newspaper articles, particularly as related to Asa's death, death and birth certificates and letters from various persons. The account is as accurate as I have been able to make it. Please use whatever you may find helpful.
