About Our Family Research

Based on my grandfather's recollection, during the 1800's a Pasquier came to the country where I was born (Nicaragua). Due to the lack of record keeping and political instability, I have no knowledge of who this individual was. My grandfather said his name was Fermin, who came as a religious missionary to the Americas. One tradition that has endured to this day, is that starting with my great-grandfather all my direct ancestors have been lawyers.
Presently I own a financial services agency in the Washington D.C. area and I am fluent in spoken French and Spanish, if your native language is not english, please don't feel compelled not to write. If anyone knows of a Pasquier who came to Latin America during the mid 1800's please contact me, any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!!
