Hello, we are just getting started on research but we do know a bit. My father's name is Arthur Pass, his father was David Pass of Milwaukee, his father was Max Pass 1881-1958 who married Trana Cheslock 1833-1948. Her parents were Avrum Leib and Pessa Michel of Poland. Pessa's mother was Suva Dvora.
Arthur Pass married Carolyn Stultz of Sackville New Brunswick. His only sibling is Sharyn Haines of Ontario.
David Pass married Lillian (Ruch) who's parents were Harry Ruch and Mary Levine who was born in 1899 in Rega Russia. Her parents were Benjamin Levine and Bessie (?) both of Russia. Harry's parents were Rachel and Rubin Ruch.
I do have a copy of an Ellis Island official Certificate of Registration for Harry Ruch who came to the United States from Lithuania.
Most of these are just names to us. My husband's family is not close so family stories are few and far between. We would appreciate any help at all. Thanks. Laurie (Stewart) Pass
