Looking for information on the parents of Samuel Patrick b. abt. 1774 and d. abt. 1820 Oglethorpe or Jones Co., GA. He married (1) Dorothea Alexander and they had four children: John, David, William, Paul. Samuel m(2) Elizabeth "Betsy" Williams b. 1768 d. aft. 1814, and they had six children: Nancy, Louis, Lewis a, Henry, Samuel Louis, and Sarah. Some sources have said he was son of a David Patrick, but have seen nothing to tie in.

Macon County, Georgia was created in 1837 from Houston County on the east side of the Flint River and from Marion County on the west side of the Flint. Your William Frederick Patrick would have been born in some other county. There are a number of Patricks in Macon County but I do not find any that you have mentioned: Please contact P. N. Patrick - pnpat@ix.netcom.com He and several others have published: "THRE HISTORY OF A PATRICK FAMILY and RELATED FAMILIES 1751 - 1996 It is possible that they have some material, not included in their book, on your Patrick Family.
