March 29, 2003: In a letter from Colleen Kerschbaum, she writes that Viola's birth certificate lists Frank Kerschbaum's occupation as butcher. Colleen writes, "no wonder so many of the boys were into the meat business. Rudy and Johnny worked at Fry's Meat Packing Company and Louis worked and retired from Milwaukee Sausage Company. Patrick started out at Olympic Sausage Co. and also worked as a meat cutter at several meat markets before joining Johnny at Fisherman's Vessel Owners Company."
