Current known linage: John T. Paul (private) John R. Paul (1893 - 1962) - Elizabeth Cox James Henry Paul (1856 - 1939) - Ida F. McFarland William Paul (being researched) - Caroline Cline 1850 NJ census lists William Paul and Caroline Paul in Camden. 1860 NJ census lists William S. Paul in Camden, but no Caroline. 1820, 30, & 40 PA census all list a William S in Philadelphia. 1860 PA census lists a Caroline Paul. Willaim Paul may have been adopted, parents may have "died on the boat". William may have taken name of adoptive parents. 95% chance William was an Engineer.
