The Payne Family Research Project

I am currently researching my husband's family the last names include: FISHER, PAYNE, HOLLIS, AARON, & POLLOCK. All of the information that I have is not very old, but I guess we have to start somewhere. Here is what I know:
JOHN PAYNE of LORETTO, LAWRENCE CO., TN died at the age of 77 - no birth or death dates. He had 6 children: GEORGE WILLIAM PAYNE of RUSSELLVILLE, AL b. 12-14-1916, d. 2-1987. SIDNEY PAYNE, ALICE PILLOWS m. to JOHN PILLOWS, MRS. CECIL ADAMS, & MRS. MATTIE SIMBEC all of LORETTO, TN. Finally, MRS. ELIZABETH SPROULESS of HAMMOND, IN.

ELIZABETH PEARL FISHER b. 4-24-1922, m. GEORGE PAYNE on 5-19-1939 - ended in divorce, but no date, she remarried WALTER WHITE - no date - d. 12-27-1968. Her parents were:

JAKE FISHER b. 1898 IN WAYNE CO., TN & PEARLIE GERTRUDE HOLLIS b. 1903 IN WAYNE CO., TN she was also married to CLIFTON LITTRELL, but I don't know how he fits in, she died 1-24-1980. Their other children are: THOMAS JUNIOR FISHER b. 3-24-1929 & HENRELLA FISHER.

On my husband's mother's side, I am hitting a wall, all I have is her parents, ELSIE AARON & WILLIAM ASBERA POLLOCK. They were born in either WAYNE or LAWRENCE CO., TN. They are still living, but no one remembers much about dates & events.

Any and all information is welcome & appreciated. If I have anything that will help any one else out, I am more than willing to share my family info.
