Ancestors of David Q. Peck

Updated September 27, 2001

About Our Family Research

I am primarily interested in tracing my ancestry back
beyond Benjamin Peck (born March 25, 1773) of
Massachusetts. I know that the family was removed to
Nova Scotia during the American Revolution, and that
Benjamin Peck was married in King's County, Nova
Scotia to Mary Harding (daughter of Benjamin Harding)
on July 6, 1794. Mary Harding was born in
Massachusetts about 1775. Benjamin Harding was born
in England. Benjamin and Mary (Harding) Peck had
eleven children. The only ones known to me at this
time are:
Israel H. Peck, born in Horton Township, King's
County, Nova Scotia on September 30, 1805.
Mary Peck, born ca. 1809.
Sarah Jane Peck, born ca. 1811.
George A. Peck, born in New Jersey on September 1, 1817.
