On Feb. 8, 1930, Dorothy Marie Etherson was born to Patrick Jerome Etherson and Marie Brooks Etherson in Maryland.
Dorothy also had two brothers, Richard and Donald.
After graduating high school, Dorothy went to work for the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Washington D.C., where she later met her husband, Lloyd DeVere Peery, also employed at the Bureau.
Dorothy, or Dottie as she was called, married Lloyd in 1952 and their first son James Carl Peery was born in Washington D.C., on Aug. 13, 1954.
Later, on Jan. 2, 1956, their second son Ronald Jerome Peery was born in Hackensack, N.J.
Dottie and Lloyd later retired in Oklahoma in 1974 and continued to live in Edmond, Okla., until 1986 when they took off in their motorhome to enjoy fulltime retirement on the road.
In November of 2000, Dottie and Lloyd moved into their new home on a ranch in Carbon, Texas, where they currently reside.
