Aaron Wesley Schnelle was born on June 23, 1858 to Aaron Frederick Schnelle and Sarah Jane Hawkins Schnelle in Putnam County, Missouri and was raised on the family farm near Lemons, Missouri.
In Dec. 1878, in Appanoose County, Iowa, he married Florence Evelyn Whitaker(Born Dec. 19,1863, at Centerville, IowaJ),and they settled in Putnam County and farmed for a year.
On Jan. 29, 1880, Fredrick William was born.
On Sept. 2, 1881, Sarah Adaline (Ida) was born.
On Mar. 17, 1884, Robert Wesley was born.
On Mar. 27, 1887, Harve Alfred was born.
On Mar. 1, 1891 David Francis was born.
On Feb. 15, 1896 Chester Whitaker was born.
In 1900, along with brother John Thomas and Brother-in-law Joe Stolebarger and their families, he moved to Sharon, Kansas, where they all established farms.
On Dec. 28, 1900, John Royal was born.
By Oct. of 1908, he had stopped farming and bought a store, which burned down in 1910, a total loss.
From 1911-1920 moved around and lived in Arkansas several places in Kansas before moving back and settling in Sharon, Kansas once again.
On May 4, 1926, Florence, his wife, had a heart attack and died, after which he sold the house and moved in with the children.
On April 30, 1939, he died while visiting Francis in Pratt, Kansas.
He and Florence are both buried in Sharon, Kansas cemetery.
