Lloyd DeVere Peery was born October 10, 1921, the Third of five Children, to Reese Carl,(Carl) and Goldie Edith Schnelle Peery at Edgar, Nebraska.
The children were: Melba; Carl Laverne; Lloyd; Frances; and Wilma.
The peerys were farmers and had come from northern Missouri. eventually they moved back to Missouri and settled in the Marionville area.
From 1941 until 1974, Lloyd worked for the Federal Bureau of Investigation and retired in 1974 after 13 years as a clerk and 20 years as a Special Agent. His service was interrupted once in 1943 to serve in the U.S. Navy during World War II. After leaving the Navy in 1945 he returned to the FBI and finished his career in 1974.
While at the FBI he met and married Dorothy Marie Etherson and they had two sons, James Carl and Ronald Jerome, both of whom also worked for the FBI.
Lloyd and Dorothy are now retired and travel and live on a Ranch in Carbon, Texas.
