I am researching my Alexander & Letitia (McAfee)STRAHAN family in the United States. Alexander was born in Northern Ireland in 1836, the son of Robert Strahan and Nancy Thompson. His wife Leticia Born Aug. 1842 in Ireland. Alexander and Leticia were married 1867 in England. Their son William was born in 1868, in England,William Married Katie Cansler in 1894, in Yonkers NY.

They came from Ireland to England then to America. They settled in Yonkers, Westchester County, New York about 1870.Their Son Alexander My Great Grand Father was born in 1859 in Ireland, he married Sarah Kendrick in Yonkers NY between 1883 & 1884.
Their son Robert was born in New York in may 1876. Son William was born in England in Feb 1867.

Other children of Alexander and Letitia are Charles J., Margaret, Thompson. All born in Yonkers.

Margaret married Carl RUST in Yonkers NY.
