Just beginning to research the Family ancestory.
Starting with my Fathers side.
Regions lived in include Kentucky and Ohio mainly.
Some surnames given to me by my grandmother (Mattie Lee Turner)(later Mattie Lee Pence)(Later Mattie Lee Colston) are:
Turner,Tucker,Boles or Bowles or Bolds,and Hobbs.
My father: Jean Asberry Pence
His Mother: Mattie Lee Turner
Her sisters: Lucille and Francis
Her Brothers: John, Riley and another I don't have name of.
Her Sons: Jean Asberry and Cecil Francis Pence
Their Father: Cecil Leonard (or Willard) Pence (I think)
His 2nd wife was "Legrie?" Havens
They had a daughter named Francine
Other relatives to Mattie Turner names are: Charles Turner,Alice Turner,Jack Turner,Joe Turner, and "Lefty" Turner (a brother, I Think)
Matties son (my uncle)Cecil Francis Pence has 2 children, Linda Gail Bowen and Donna Sue (Don't know her married name. His wife is Dorothy (Don't know her Maiden name)
Anyway, This should be fun research.
