I have worked on the family search for several years. I have made some success and have reached a block on one branch of my tree. I am looking for any information on William Harrison Grant DOB March 31, 1906 Died March 26, 1965. He married Anna M. Mills of Patterson, New Jersey. I am his grandchild, the daughter of his oldest son, Paul Eugene Grant. I have been unable to locate anything on his parents.

The family stories indicate that he was born in Ohio in a town called Kansas Station. There is indication that all birth records were destroyed in a town fire. If anyone has any information that would assist me in the search, it would be greatly appreciated.

I am also trying to confirm or deny the rumor that our family is related to General Ulysses S. Grant.
