This family tree was put together during a recent trip to Israel. Our family believes ourselves to be Sephardic Jews who moved from Turkey to Crimea. From Crimea, the family moved in a number of different directions, some staying in the Ukraine, others moving to Siberia, but most eventually living in Georgia, in the Caucausus mountains. Many of us lived in T'bilisi, but others also lived in Batumi, Sokhumi and Rustavi. In the 1980s and 1990s most of the family left Georgia and moved either to Israel or to the United States.
