Four brothers from Alcace-Louraine Came to America some time in the 1600's. This was the start of the Pfohl family in the United States. As far as I have been able to determine All the Pfohl's in this country are related to some degree.

Two of the brothers setteled in Buffalo and two went up to Canada only to return to the Western New York area sometime later. I have been able to research my family tree to around 1721, but obviously the work goes on. I have gotten back to Anton Pfohl(1721/22) Husband of Anna Maria Hildebrand(1723-1763)

I also need help with my maternal Grandfathers family. His name was Alexander Vohwinkel Born in either Holland or Geamany Around 1895. He lived in Connecticut around 1920 or so. That is all the info that I have. If anyone can assist me I would appreciate it.
