My name is Gary R.J.Phaneuf. I'm in the military and my family really never discussed our origin much and I am interested in learning about the family heritage so I can pass it on to my son who is now two years old. My son is named after my grandfather and I didn't even know my grandfathers real name until his passing in June 1997. Anyone who could give me any information would be extremely helpful. My grandfathers name was Joseph Victor Phaneuf of Holyoke Mass. That is about all I know. I would like more information about the family origin such as national origin, history and other relatives.
