I have embarked on a journey to trace my african - american roots. Having family values have always meant a lot to me. With children of my own, I think it time to research past my grandparents (with at least one still living on both my paternal and maternal side).

I hope to research my family history so that family gatherings, reunions, etc. will have great meaning for me and my family.
