Hi - I'm in the process of developing my family tree but have come to a stone wall. In search of: Charles Franklin Browning - b: February 12, 1879 d: unknown m: unknown to Lula Autrey. Thier children were Eva Wilda Browning m: Archie W. Hodges (my grandparents), Edith Browning m: Noah John Neilsen and Mildren Browning m: Floyd Sullivan. I believe Charles had a sister Melvina Browning. I am able to trace Charles back to Isaac C. Browning and that's it. On the back of a photo I have, Lula Autrey and her sister Anne Autrey? were raised by the grandmother - not sure of which side.
Also In search of the families of Charles Walter Hodges b: 1860-70 who married Sarah Marie Carr June 13, 1877 in Crawford,KS. Sarah was b: 1873 d: 1959 in Tulsa Oklahoma. Their children were Archie W. Hodges b: 1900 in Pittsburgh, Crawford County, KS, (Charles and Sarah are my grandparents),Oscar Hodges b: Oct. 27, 1904 d: March 1986 in Witchita, Sedgwick, KS and Glen Hodges b: May 29, 1906 and d: March 1971 in San Gabriel, CA he married Casilda ? - they had no children. Oscar had a child Walter Hodges who married Honor unknown- they had no children. Sarah's siblings were Viola Carr b: April 1877 in MO m: Charles Nick Sayers abt: 1894 in Jopin, Jasper County, MO, Theodore 'Dorey' Carr, William S. Carr b: abt 1866. please help - thanks-Margaret!!!!
