Iam trying to find my family on my mothers side. She was adopted her birth mothers name was Edna Winters she died sometime around 1991 in California. My mothers birth father's name was Lawrence Joyce. She was adopted with her brother (John) by Margie Joyce and her husband. Edna Winters had several children some were sold and others were given up for adoption she kept at least 2 and mabe 3 daughters. We do not know how many children there were because Edna used false names many times on the birth certificates we know at least once she used her sisters name. We believe she lived the majority of her life in Texas and moved to California in her fortys. My mothers name is Frances and is married I have 1 brother(Thomas). I am married and have 2 children now I do not want necessarily want to meet anyone but I would appreciate any information anybody has out there to fill in the blanks of my family tree.
