I did a school project a number of years ago on my family lineage. This summer, while home from college, I began going through some old papers and items and found many pictures of relatives who could only be identified by other members of my family. I was also given a rather large book of relatives which contained a number related individuals and their lineages.
In an effort to preserve what artifacts remained, I began organizing and attempting to save what I found. Out of curiosity, while in a library one afternoon, I began searching and came across a number of surenames with Pinto. I've had family members tell me that me that I have various relatives in New York and some in Australia with lineage from Italy.
For as long as I can remember growing up, we have always had massive family gatherings or reunions; usually held in the sometime in the summer.
I hope to get a ton of more information up by September, including information on my mother's Norweigian and Sweedish lineage.
