The Plessingers and Johnsons of Michigan

Updated March 28, 2008

About Our Family Research

I started researching about 5 years ago when I decided to see what I could find out about the names in the Stewart family bible. This bible was started by by my Great Grandmother in the 1800s. I would like to thank Caroline Malmgren-Davis for her help with research from her family files and her generosity in sharing them with me.

This tree started with the Fralick and Stewart family bible and slowly has been built from that point

Family Photos

Johnson Brothers: Jay Johnson (far left) and his brothers. I have the names of the brothers but unsure of which name goes with which face. Brother's names are: Earl, Bryan, Glenn, Leland, Donald,
  • Johnson Ancestors (42 KB)
Found with other pictures of the Johnson family. Unsure of who they are.
  • Johnson Farm (40 KB)
Written on back of photo is Mr. and Mrs. G. Johnson and C. Johnson and Jim the old horse. Photo of George Johnson, his wife Sarah Austin Johnson and their son, Charles The horse is the only one that is clearly identified in this picture.
  • Stewart Brothers (41 KB)
Stewart Brothers, Thomas A. left. Person to right and sitting unknown. Assuming Thomas’s brothers.
  • Lucellia Fralick Stewart (43 KB)
Nothing written on back of photo. Assuming it’s Lucellia (older woman) and an unknown person behind her.
