I have just started looking for my mothers family. She's the last one left and she's 80 now. Her mother was born at home in the Orzarks in Missouri. She never worked or even went to school. My mother also told me that her grandmother was married either 3 or 4 times.( I'm having a terrible time.)She also told me that her great, great, great---?-- grandmother was a Blackfoot Indian who married a French Trapper.Well at least it should be interesting.
