Plumlee, Green and Colson's of TN., KY., and N.C. Photo Page
Updated August 8, 2003
|About Our Family Research
We have created this page for the purpose of sharing some old family photos with any other family members that may be out there, somewhere.
Some we can positively identify, some we have an idea about and others we've just guessed at.
We have only been able to trace our Plumlee line back to 1825 with the birth of William F. Plumlee in Knox or Blount County, TN.
Our Green line has been traced back to 1776 with the birth of William Green in North Carolina and our Colson line has been traced back to 1780 with the birth of George Coleson in North Carolina.
Most of these people settled in Clay and Overton Counties in Tennessee. My Plumlee line, from my Dad back to my Great Grandfather Barton, were all born at Butler's Landing near Celina.
We hope you enjoy these photos and if you feel that you can identify any of them, please share your information with us. Thanks, Tim Plumlee
