My sisters and I (as well as our collective kids) have decided to begin a search of our ancestors. While we were growing up, we thought we had no other relatives because my parents had run away together and had not kept in touch with their families. There was some resentment in those they had left and so we were kept in the dark. My fathers sons had done an extensive research of our fathers side of the family but apparently weren't willing to share this with us at that time. Having that would make all of this much easier. All in all we are very excited for this new journey and have no idea what is in store for us. We'll likely find more skeletons...but at least we are prepared :).
