The family survivors reunite at Clarko State Park, Quitman, Ms each Labor Day Weekend. The event starts on Thursday and goes through Sunday night. Arthur and Laura had thirteen children, all of which married and had children. Labor Day 2002 there was 187 in attendance. In January 2003 Tony Pogue contacted a lady named GALA DeHART who said she is the great-granddaughter of Martin Columbus Pogue, who was the brother of James Wesley Pogue. Their parents were James P. Pogue & Mary Ann Butler.

In the 50's or 60's a John Pogue came to Meridian Ms and opened "Pogue's Cleaners". He came across our name and it is rumored that he ran the family name back to England. The Pogues split and part went to NYC & the other to Georgia. The name is in Cobb county Ga records. John came to Meridian from Louisville, Ky and supposedly is from the families that landed in NYC.
