It begins with *PURNELL WALKER born in Somerset CO., MD 1782 to *JOHN WILSON WALKER born 1803 in GA to *WILLIAM JAMES WALKER born 1829 in Clarke CO., AL to *DENNIS SCOTT WALKER born in Meridian, MS 2000. Purnell Walker had 7 sons & 1 daughter>Jane M. Walker 1810 or11>GA she md Thomas J. Dean of TN., & they settled in Jackson CO., MS. Only have 3 names of the 7 sons> James L. (Jim) Walker 1801>GA married 1 of 3 sisters Edna Walker. William (Bill) H. Walker 1806>GA md Rhoda Walker they moved on to Citronelle AL. Bill was an herb doctor. John Wilson Walker 1803>GA md Elizabeth Walker they stayed in Lower Peachtree, Clarke CO., AL. John Wilson & Elizabeth had 7 children; #1William James Walker 1829 Clarke CO., AL md Alice M. Bradford 1851 Clarke CO., AL >they had 5 children, their only son>T. N. "Nate" Walker 1854 was my great grandfather. Nate md Mary Josephine Taylor in Clarke CO., AL 1883. They had 13 children. Other children of John Wilson & Elizabeth Walker>twins John Purnell (bn 1833 married Julia Rutledge in 1860 & Andrew Jackson bn 1833 md A.A. Bradford in 1861), Mary E. bn 1831 md James Thomas Bradford in1853, Gaston Louden Walker bn1846 md Elizabeth Dunkley in 1868, Rebecca A. Walker bn 1834 md John Dunkley 1867 ***(3 sisters are daughters of Andrew Walker of SC & Naomi Elizabeth Moore of GA married 1800 Warren CO., GA>are no relation to Purnell Walker) This site is still under construction.
