Pennsylvania Roots: My Parents came to Akron,Oh. in tne 1950's.
They are originally from Beaverdale\Lloydell,PA and Bedford
County area.(Imler).
The Robinson's are from County Down, Ulster County,Ireland they came to the USA in 1870's. The Kettrens\Sheehan's lived in Blanburg, Pa. Kettren is from Prussia (Germany) arrived about 1866 and the Sheehans\O'Driscolls around 1870 to 1874 from Briton Ferry,Wales, originally from County Cork, Ireland.
The Colebaugh's are from Bedford County,Pa. originally Hesse Darmstrat,Germany. The Benton's and The Weyandts are from Bedford and Blair counties in Pa. I have a 40 page book on the Colebaugh Family and some on the Bentons and Weyandts. My GOAL is to find my Irish and German Roots and I'm starting in "Gods County"!
(My Mom always refers to Bedford,Pa in this manner)
