We are desended from John Joseph Carney who migrated from Clarecastle County Clare to Australia and married Catherine Fitzgerald from Shropshire England.
John's parents were Mary Garrahy and William Kearney. He had many brothers and sisters, some made to to Australia and also the US. They include:
