Great Grandfather is Neptune Hooks from GA. He married Louisa Anderson Hooks. Grandfather Jesse Hooks had two wives, Annie my grandmother and one in Florida. Jesse and Annnie had two sons, Henry and Thomas Hooks. Daughters Ruth, Mable, Rosalee, Naomi.
Jesse moved to Florida where he died in 1942 leaving another family of Hooks. It is reported that Jesse Hooks was biracial and had white cousins that visited him in Metter, GA. Jesse was jailed in Florida for fighting and was discovered dead in his cell the follwing morning. Mysterious circumstances. I have order his death certificate.
