I am a novice at this, but I do persevere! I have been working on my family tree on and off for about 5 yrs. I get very frustrated because of lots of blind spots and brick walls. I have very limited facts and lots of confusing information! I am always seeking HELP. Anyone with information on the family of Sidney Vincent ELLMORE of Philadepha Pa.[1920 census] later of Ambler,Mont,Co.,Pa.Married Henrietta Marie Bokius they had 9 children. Francis A. WHITTLE of Bronx,NY-Migrated from Blackburn,England with wife Alice & children,between 1902 & 1905 There is no info on the Ellis Island site or on numerious passenger lists I have searched..He is listed in the 1881 Preston,Lanc.Co.,Eng. census at 5 yrs. of age. The COMMANDER branch were the original owners of COMMANDERS PALACE,New Orleans,La.opened in 1880, but I have since learned their original name was Camarda of Ustica,Ity. the same problem with the 1st Camarda,Pietro came to New Orleans,La. in 1852.
