The Rumseys of SC

About Our Family Research


I have learned a lot of things through my digging. I've learned that one set of my great grandparents (John and Tennie Long) are buried at Holly Springs church outside of Westminister the other is buried at Whitefield Baptist church in Williamston SC. My great uncle Johnnie Long was KIA in WWII. I've learned that Grannys (Mary Leolis Long) grandpa was 100% Cherokee Indian. I would like to find out if the Rumseys have any Cherokee Indian in them.
