About 20 years ago, my uncle traced our family tree all the way back to Spain. Since his death, I would like to start that research over again and see just how far back I can go.
My father, Oscar Menchaca Perez, and my mother, Elena Perez Estrada, married on January 1, 1954. I am the eldest of five children from this marriage.
My name is Rosario Perez Polanco, born on November 14, 1954. My brothers and sisters are as follows:

Elena Perez Garcia, born November 7,1960
Teresa Perez Kazak, born December 20, 1966
The family members on my fathers side of the family are sparse. He is the only one still alive from his immediate family.
On my mothers side, we are a very large family. I only have contact with the family members that live in Laredo, Texas. I have other cousins in Chicago and California.
