About Our Family Research


I am a decendant of John J. Russell and Alta Celesta Standlee Russell. I have been working on my family history for several years. I am in charge of the Russell Family Reunion at Pine Island Resort located at Zena, Oklahoma. This is where my grandparents lived and raised their family until they moved to Kansas in 1944. John and Alta Celesta Russell are buried in the Zena Cemetary along with two of their children and many other relatives.
