N.C. 8 JAN 1794 . he married mary BENTON [polly] he 0wned a farm and had at least 8 children. his SON,JAMES ALFRED Browning was born about 1823 accordding to the census and married matsey mahala nickells.they had five children and the fifth one waS MY GRANDFATHER john louis. who married elizabeth lucinda hill.and their first born was naldY louis browning who wa my father.naldy browning marrued nancy lee jane kinkade. daughter of john thomas kinkade and mother kiizare litha amanda owens. her father. JOSEPH OWENS, was a road foreMAN of perry county tennessee. i have more info but i will start with this.
