My family research has led me to Ontario, Canada for Butler then to Iowa for Butler, Randall, Ahern. Randall went back to Maine and Ahern went to Connecticut and then Ireland. In the mid-west there was Pierce, Tooley, Acock, Farris, Beals, Scroggins, Sawyer and those led me to Kentucky, Tennessee and North Carolina.
The Porter side went straight back to England, while Gross, Nelson, Johnson and Spencer took me to Indiana and Minnesota, as well as Michigan.
