I am a Direct Decendent of Henry Porch, NC 10th Regiment Revolutionary Soldier and have most of his line to the present day. Henry and Rebecca Denton Porch spent most of their lives in Whitley County Kentucky. However, they were married and spent their younger days in Franklin County North Carolina. DAR records list Henry's birth in 1758 Abingdon Virginia. I seriously question this as I believe Henry was one of the sons of John and Suzanna Porch as near as I can tell who spent much of their lives in Franklin County. Henry entered the Revolution from Franklin County.
