All Poree's in the UK today are descended from my Great-great gandfather - Paul Pierre Poree - who came to England from South Normandy, France via Jersey between 1875 and 1877. They settled in the East end of London, but have now spread throughout the country.
There are currently around 40 Poree's resident in the UK all of whom descend from his eldest and his youngest sons, Paul Jean Auguste Poree and Albert Arthur Poree respectively.

PARR (maternal grandfather): Bates, Griffiths & Garner (Lancashire). All of this side of the family origniate from the Wavetree, Old Swan and Toxteth areas of Liverpool.
YATES (maternal grandmother): Edwards, Bates & Pye (Lancashire). All of this side of the family originate from the Wavetree, Old Swan, Toxteth, Aintree and Melling areas of Liverpool.
