I am sure glad there is an internet and I learned how to use it, or I never would be able to compile any sort of family info...Its hard enough already and I may have a few errors...Point them out or supply alternatives...........
My grandfather (died 2 years before I was born) had a brief 3 year marriage to my grandmother and they had one child: Glen Clayton Post. He only had a few facts about his father and very little of anything else. You see, My grandfather, Orvey Jermain Post, had married several women and had children with probably all of them. For that reason, I believe, he managed to keep a low profile and avoid a paper trail. To top that off, his father: Jermain Post a lawyer in Barron Wisconsin also must have kept a low profile and died very young in 1894 at the age of 43. Very little is known about him as well. So tracking these guys down was quite a labor to say the least...It was like looking for the fabled "Philosopher Stone".
