My name is Andy Powers and about 4 1/2 years ago my daughter asked me to help her fill out a family tree for school. I thought I could. At that time I realized how little I knew about my family and that has made all the difference. It started me on a quest that will last the rest of my life. I am trying to update a report that was started in the 1970's by a relative. I have learned very much while doing this, have come in contact with distant relatives and I hope I have enriched those that have given information etc. I would like to gather as much info, as many pictures and as much detail about the members of my family and my extended family. Eventually I would like to publish this info so that all can share. Hopefully this will encourage others to get into the fray. I would like to learn as much as possible about all the members of this family. The family has an annual get together in Vermont.
