I have a few notes myself that Grandmom shared with me throughout my childhood. Very interesting facts she and I shared. We were close in that we corresponded for many years. I have letters dated back when I was about 8 or 9 (will be 40 in 22 days!!) up until a couple of years before her death.

One think that always stays in my mind - Did you know she witnessed her brother's death? They were late for school and he was chasing her across some railroad tracks and was hit by a train!!

Also, remember they only had 3 bedrooms? Daddy said they used to sleep 3 horizontal and 1 perpendicular. Can you imagine. We are so blessed to have what we have now.
