About Our Family Research


Only just started researching. As far as I am aware my great grandfather, John William Prothero(e) was a seaman from Cardiff, Wales. Came to Australia late 1800's/early 1900's; had six children - five boys, one girl. My grandfather, John William Prothero, married Anne Woods from England (Warwickshire I think). They had three children - John William (my father), Marion and Neville.
