I have only traced my family to my Great-Grandfather, Nikoli Gesiorek. He and his wife Mary (nee Gensiorek) immigrated to Canada approx. 1906-7. With them they brought Nikoli's son Ignaze (by another marriage)(approx. 18 yrs), and by Nikoli's marriage to Mary - Mike (Mikola) born Mar. 15, 1903, John & Josephine both born Mar. 19, 1905. John being my Grandfather. Two more children - Brownie, & Frank were born in Hadashville, Manitoba. From Immigration, marriage, and death records indication is that my family was from Brody, Vicisko, Brockie, Poland or another document indicates District 4 Galacia, Brody, Village of Wojeskie. I know that my g-grandfather homesteaded in Hadishville, MB. We have documents with his signature up until 1920 but after that time he seems to have dissappeared. I have contacted our Cdn resources for copies of death cert., naturalization cert. etc. without any success. We have his wife (Mary's) death certificate indicating death in 1933 at which time she was living in Elm Creek, MB
