I am trying to build a family tree for my children and future generations, however there are so many adoptions in my family that I really don't know where to start.
My birth name is Octavia Marie Probasco Born 08/30/1965. Born to Kelvin Michael Probasco and Barbara Mary Giles Born 11/09/1944. Barbara was adopted by her Natural Aunt (Rose Catherine And Raymond Gordon Giles who both at that time resided in San Francisco Ca.)shortly after birth. Kelvin's mother is said to be Anne Crowly born in Plymouth England and father unknown to me. Anne married a military man from the United States who adopted Kelvin and moved both Anne and Kelvin to the U.S.
My mother remarried in 1970 at which time I was adopted by her husband Leonard lincoln Landwehr.
If anyone can help me locate living or deceased family I will be truely greatful.
