It started out simply. Lee's mother's family genealogy was already a book,with family reunions yearly. And then came the "Proper Book" from a distant cousin of my husband's with 23,000 Proper's listed in the book! I was given a computer, and then I received a chart on my father's family lineage from my first cousin's daughter. I used this chart to "branch out and along with his family history" Of course that was only the beginning. I have seen at least two different computers, several printers, scanners, and even viewing screens pass through my Computer room! I have recalled my mother's stories on the Irish part of her family, traditions, and names of her grandparents, great-aunts whom she seemed unusually close to. As an only child, I really was excited to learn of my family. As it grows, day by day, I have changed, and added to my personal genealogy, and I have also done so with my husband's family for our family of three children. I will continue to add as the days accumulate, and I am always thrilled to learn JUST ONE MORE THING!
